About Sky

Crafting compelling stories through expert visual storytelling for brands wanting to engage and elevate their presence online.

My passion for filmmaking and photography was sparked by my parents. My father would sit me down and share his old slides, showcasing the magazine shoots and full-canvas prints he had captured. Each photo carried a story, and I was captivated by the way visuals could preserve moments and emotions.

At nine years old, my stepfather entered my life and introduced me to martial arts, training me in Taekwondo, Kickboxing, and Krav Maga. When he became sick and bedridden, I stepped up to take over our family business, running the martial arts studio. My passion evolved beyond traditional training—I wanted to push the boundaries of the arts, incorporating Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, and Muay Thai. This led to the opening of Blacksheep Combat in Austin, Texas, in 2021, specializing in boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA. Within a year, one of our fighters, Braxton Smith, signed with the UFC and made his debut at UFC 288.

While I was developing athletes, I was also honing my skills in cinematography and production. I craved a challenge, which led to co-founding Melee Fighting Championship, the first fight promotion in Austin, Texas, in over 15 years. Our inaugural event took place at the Palmer Event Center, where I served as the Director of Production. I handled everything—from coordinating the event flow and producing fighter hype videos to securing sponsorships and even matchmaking in emergencies. I was fully immersed in every aspect of the fight business, but my true love was always visual storytelling.

Over time, I shifted from coaching and gym ownership to pursuing filmmaking full-time. This journey led to the launch of FightFlix TV, a live broadcast company dedicated to delivering high-level production for MMA and Jiu-Jitsu events. Our mission is to showcase athletes in a professional light, help promotions elevate their digital assets, and attract high-paying sponsors through premium-quality content.

More than anything, videography is my passion. There’s nothing more rewarding than taking a vision and bringing it to life—when music, lighting, sound effects, and storytelling align perfectly to create a moment that gives you chills. When an audience feels something through cinematography, that’s when I know I’ve done my job.

Today, I’m 100% freelance and excited for the future. The journey is just getting started.
